Brooklyn at Disney on Ice

Today we took Brooklyn to Disney on Ice and she LOVED IT! She insisted on wearing her "Sleeping Beauty" princess dress and has been counting down the days until today! (Literally: Britney made her a countdown paper chain to help her countdown to today.) It was a lot of fun to see her face light up when she saw Mickey and Minnie, and all of the Disney princesses. She soaked up every minute of it.
It was also nice for Britney and I as parents to see other peoples' kids and feel better about how ours behave. Seriously, we saw kids who spilled each other's snow cones (all three of them) within 10 minutes of sitting down, kids who stood in the doorway to the ESA screaming because they didn't want to leave, and kids who begged and pleaded for their parent's to fork out 20 more dollars for light up Disney toys. Brooklyn was so sweet the whole time and was easily contented with her Belle toy that we got her from one of the souvenir stands. Yes, she's Ms. Independent, but she's truly a sweetie at heart.

I am glad my kids didn't know about that! Good night nurse. They would have begged to go until they turned out the lights. Then they would have begged to leave or peed their pants. I will have to live vicariously through your experience. Glad we had a good time! :)

P.S. Where do they come up with these things for word verification? This one says: eashicif. First thing that popped into my mind is something you might tell someone to do if you naughty person. Grief.
