U2 360 TOUR VEGAS TRIP!

On Thursday I drove down to Vegas with Brad Gillman (aka "Bug"), a great friend of mine from high school, and with Amy and her boyfriend Corby (I hope I spelled that right). We went down for the ULTIMATE concert experience!

My 2 favorite bands are Our Lady Peace and U2 and amazingly enough OLP was playing at the VooDoo beach on their Burn, Burn Tour Thursday night and U2 was playing at Sam Boyd Stadium on their 360 Tour Friday night. It was an amazing coincidence and way too good to pass up! So we drove down and went to both concerts.

Both concerts were AMAZING! Searchlight and Company of Thieves opened for OLP. They were both fantastic bands. I'd highly recommend both of them. Black Eyed Peas opened up for U2 and they were a great concert on their own! I could have watched them for hours, they're amazing live!

U2 put on maybe their best show I've seen (and I've seen A LOT of U2 shows!). The 360 Tour set is out of this world huge and worth the ticket price by itself. It's amazing what they can do for these tour stages. If you're interested in checking out the U2 360 TOUR youtube is airing their Rose Bowl concert tonight LIVE! You should definitely check it out. My camera took horrible pics so the slide show below doesn't look that great, but it should at least give you some idea of the set. It's an amazing show!

We also went to the Coke Store and took a "tour" of the different Coke products served in other countries. I wouldn't recommend this to those who want to keep their taste buds, but it was a fun experience. Here are the different drinks we had:
