B-Day / Wicked / B-Day

Our family has been busy! Last Wednesday we celebrated Carson's 1st Birthday with a birthday bash. He's such a cute little guy. He was great with the presents and loved every bit of the attention. He also loved his birthday cake! (Check out the pics in the slide show above). We had a blast with mine and Britney's family and are grateful for the year we've had with Carson. He's been an amazing addition to our family!

On Thursday of last week Britney and I had an amazing experience. We went to Texas Roadhouse steakhouse (I'd highly recommend it) and then went to Captial Theater to attend the musical Wicked! We were sooo excited not only for the play, but for a night out. It was a fantastic experience. Wicked is an amazing production with a lot of humor, excellent music and a great story. In case you haven't heard of it, it's the story of the Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz, and how she becomes "Wicked". The production was simply fantastic. If you have a chance to go see Wicked while it's in Salt Lake City do it! It's well worth the time and money.

Then on Tuesday of this week Britney had her 29th birthday! To surprise her I used my anniversary gift card from work (I've been there 8 years now!) and bought a Nintendo Wii with Wii Fit and Animal Crossing. Britney was so excited! I honestly wanted a PS3 instead but I have to admit, I'm glad I got the Wii. It's very interactive and something that even Brooklyn can play and have fun with.

We have been BUSY, and we woke up to almost 6 inches of snow this morning, on April 16th!!! The weather's been so crazy lately. Anyways, I hope everyone's doing well!
